It only took me 9 years, but I feel like today, with the creation of my blog...I've officially arrived to the 21st century. I'm excited to have an outlet to express my thoughts and ideas. Always the creative type, I'm loaded with ideas and have reached a point in life where I'm pursuing them - 1 by 1. Let's call it my "business bucket list".
I consider myself an inventor, but I have no proto-types, no patents - well forgive me, I did actually get a patent once on a concept that was ahead of it's time and now, it's obsolete. I haven't invested my life savings into the "gadget that will change the universe", no, I invent marketing concepts. Advertising slogans. Practical products. I invent ideas for different businesses.
Most importantly though, with the start of this blog....I'm actually sharing my road as I "re-invent" myself. We've all heard "Today is the beginning of the rest of your life" and my re-invention begins today. Writing a blog is like exposing yourself to the entire world, and then waiting to see if, in fact, anyone has an interest in what you have to say. I want to share my successes and failures. You'll get to know me, my sense of humor, projects I'm in the midst of completing and my take on life - both in business and personal. If you choose to follow -- great -- welcome aboard the mother ship of invention. If I write to "me, myself and I" that's okay too.
So here's to all my soon to be met "blogging friends" and "the ideas that will flow as I blog to grow". You're never gonna know what I'll blog about next. I have to say it takes a little bit of courage to hit that "publish post" button cause there's no turning back. But what the heck..you only go around once so "publish post" away! Cheers
